I personally don't think it's bad if people don't mass acquire generic twitter names. Marketing on Twitter is considered different than SEO. At least match the twitter name for your brand as a minimum.
I have the twitter user name for most of my important domains that I want to develop myself, maybe later I'll write a post on tips for getting the twitter acounts for your domains.

"I wrote before that it sucks that no forum owns their twitter account or even tweets." I am surprised that they did not cover the generic Titter user names for marketing. so described SEO experts are even worse !!!

Also I\'m wondering why hasn\'t there been an official post by Google on this. Once they do a public writeup I\'ll post it.

Thanks for reading but I can\'t post an email that Google sends to the Ad Agency I work for.
Since I work SEM (paid search advertising) we got the notice a few days before google\'s their layout changed last week.
It was a Japanese notice about this and many of the changes were already done when I first wrote about it but the Unicode for said it will change in the very near future. I thought since the other changes were done the idn display urls were too. Unfortunately it wasn\'t.

Currently the display URL is the second line of the ad which makes it stand it more. Making it Japanese would make it stand out even more if it\'s a high conversion keyword.
