Since when did SEDO become IDN friendly? I admit I totally forgot I even had a SEDO account until I recieved an offer for an nonIDN domain through SEDO.

Just for fun I wanted to see if I could add IDNs since it’s like 5 years since they used to contact me about other things. I added a few Japanese hotel domains. Then tried to search for the term “Hotel” in Japanese to see if my domains showed up. They did perfectly.

I don’t know how long this has been a feature because I can’t find a lot of premium Japanese domains on SEDO. It must be new. Anyway it doesn’t cost anything so I listed my whole portfolio on there.

SEDO does have a presence in Japan but mainly domain acquisition for companies. Japanese companies have other options for domain buys.

Anyway if you have lots of domains listing on SEDO is free, quick & pretty easy. Their search function works too, at least it does for Japanese.

I might not get tons of offers but who knows. I believe I have one of the best Japanese travel portfolios I expect this might get the most inquiries but we’ll see.
